This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee probationary periods, contract renewals, and visa processes in Deel, providing assistance with the drafting of employment agreements, addendums, employment declarations, and documentation for employees in the EMEA region.
• Maintain HR databases to ensure that employee records comply with local laws and are consistently updated for the EMEA region.
• Assist with employee work authorization, visa matters, and support relocation processes as needed across the EMEA region.
• Update and maintain regional Employee Handbooks as needed or as directed.
• Support the Payroll & Benefits Manager with benefits enrollment for all new hires in the EMEA region, including onboarding and offboarding Serbian employees in Generali health insurance and addressing routine inquiries.
• Responsible for tracking and maintaining vacation balances in Deel, which includes notifying employees of expiring days, uploading accurate balances, and making adjustments as necessary.
• Aid in designing and implementing onboarding programs that align with our remote-first culture.
• Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a smooth transition for candidates from the Talent Acquisition phase to the new hire onboarding phase.
• Organize induction schedules, prepare welcome packs, and set up necessary systems.
• Responsible for configuring new hires in Deel, including generating email access, creating organized folders in G-drive, and providing access to G-suite, Brex, and other essential applications.
• Work alongside the IT department to ensure the timely delivery of country-specific IT equipment and act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues and questions during the onboarding process.
• Assist with general onboarding of employees across the EMEA region, helping them to navigate and integrate successfully into the company.
• Collaborate with the Payroll & Benefits Manager (and a future HR Generalist) to manage offboarding processes and conduct exit interviews, including equipment collection and termination of system access.
• Help develop and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Work together with the EMEA HR Director and HR Generalist to conduct employee surveys and analyze the results.
• Assist in coordinating HR initiatives such as performance reviews, training, and internal communications.
• Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that reflects the organization’s values and goals.
• Initiate fun and creative methods to connect the team in a remote-first work environment, including organizing team-building activities.
• Support HR communications and employee engagement activities, including wellness programs and recognition events.
• Assist in preparing HR reports and presentations for management.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, ideally within a fast-paced, international setting.
• Familiarity with various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compliance, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Practical experience with HRIS systems for managing employee records and generating reports.
• Proficient in using a range of applications, including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, email communication, and CRM software.
