HRIS Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the HRIS, which includes data entry, system updates, and providing user support, ensuring the precision and integrity of employee information.

• Maintain employee files encompassing personal details, work history, compensation information, and benefits enrollment, adhering to data privacy laws and company policies.

• Aid in the setup, customization, and testing of the HRIS to facilitate HR processes, workflows, and reporting needs, in conjunction with HR stakeholders and IT partners.

• Create regular and on-demand reports, dashboards, and data analyses to assist HR in decision-making, workforce planning, and compliance reporting, using HRIS reporting tools and Excel.

• Discover opportunities to optimize HR processes, enhance data accuracy and efficiency, and improve user experience within the HRIS platform through automation, standardization, and adherence to best practices.

• Deliver training and technical assistance to HR team members and end-users regarding HRIS functionality, processes, and best practices, ensuring effective system utilization and adoption.

• Assure compliance with data privacy laws, company policies, and industry standards in HR data management, and assist with internal and external audits as required.

• Coordinate with HRIS vendors, consultants, and service providers to address system issues, implement upgrades, and stay updated on system improvements and industry developments.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• 1-3 years of experience in HRIS administration, data management, or HR operations, ideally within a corporate setting.

• Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud) and the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

• Strong grasp of HR processes, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and HRIS best practices.

• Excellent analytical abilities, capable of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making and process enhancement initiatives.

• Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong commitment to data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide assistance to end-users.

• Capability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Experience in HRIS implementation, configuration, or system integration projects is advantageous.

• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or HRIS certification (e.g., HRIP) is preferred but not mandatory.
