HRIS Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create scalable, AI-ready architectures that facilitate automated end-to-end HR processes and introduce new functionalities.

• Investigate and implement AI agents and machine learning to transform workflows and produce actionable insights.

• Develop applications utilizing Workday Extend and create intricate Workday Studio integrations using Java, Python, or other supported programming languages.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to delineate system boundaries, data flows, and integration standards.

• Lead design reviews and offer technical guidance.

• Create event-driven integration patterns, RESTful/SOAP APIs, and data pipelines that connect HRIS systems.

• Establish integration patterns, reusable code libraries, and architectural guidelines.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for HRIS systems.

• Construct data pipelines and API layers for Enterprise Analytics platforms.

• Design secure architectures utilizing OAuth 2.0, RBAC, and encryption techniques.

• Ensure SOX compliance across all integrations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to convert business challenges into technical roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in evaluating solutions, design, best-practice advising, and implementing People Technology, particularly Workday.

• Profound technical expertise in Workday HCM, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and Talent modules.

• Practical experience with Workday Extend, Prism, and complex integrations within the HR ecosystem.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability tools such as Datadog, along with SLO/SLI-based reliability.

• Experience in architecting comprehensive technical flows that align business objectives with technological solutions.

• Proficiency in OAuth 2.0 and API security frameworks.

• Excellent project management abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks independently.

• Competence in facilitating design discussions and aligning various stakeholders on intricate technical solutions.
