This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee all facets of planning, development, testing, implementation, data management, customer reporting, and user support for HRIS, ensuring integration with other business applications such as SAP, Active Directory, etc.
• Identify and analyze the root causes of issues affecting system functionality and user experience through system testing and user feedback.
• Suggest, assess, and implement business process enhancements, technology solutions, and/or updates to improve and elevate the system.
• Drive the planning, execution, and implementation of HRIS projects.
• Organize and manage change management for HR systems within the scope of responsibility.
• Ensure the creation, development, and dissemination of regular and ad-hoc reports to support insight and decision-making for management and staff.
• Supervise HRIS professionals, including selection, development, and performance management.
• Determine training needs for end users, super users, and system administrators.
• Oversee the creation of training content and facilitate the delivery of training and instructional support to enhance user productivity in collaboration with internal and/or external resources.
• Ensure the development of documentation and manage shared business processes.
• Prioritize business processes based on their impact risk and significance to business operations.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in human resource information system administration is required, preferably with Workday; at least three (3) years of human resources management or business partner experience is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program is required, preferably in an Information Technology related field.
• A Master’s degree from an accredited program is preferred, ideally in Human Resources, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in the Workday platform, including HCM modules such as benefits, time, payroll, recruiting, performance, and learning.
• Extensive understanding of information systems, data management, and reporting.
• Familiarity with HRIS functions, policies, and processes.
• Knowledge of labor laws, employment law guidelines & policies, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver presentations.
• Strong organizational, project, and process management skills.
• Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Strong business acumen along with strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Capable of influencing, coaching, and collaborating with individuals at all levels within the organization.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience in providing counsel/feedback.
• Strong consultative mindset and approach.
• Willingness to occasionally travel by air and/or ground overnight, as necessary.
