📋 Description

• Collaborate with innovative colleagues from 3M across the globe.

• Take ownership of comprehensive solution design and utilize extensive Workday knowledge to manage intricate payroll, accrual, and time valuation setups.

• Foster innovation throughout fundamental HR and compensation processes, spearhead cross-functional initiatives, and convert business requirements into clear, user-centered system designs.

• Act as the senior expert in Workday for Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules, driving advanced design and configuration of pay calculation rules, accrual logic, eligibility criteria, earnings/deductions setup, and time valuation.

• Supervise and guide HR Technology Analysts in their configuration, testing, and deployment tasks.

• Evaluate and authorize configuration, testing scripts, test outcomes, and documentation to ensure precision and readiness for audits.

• Lead complex troubleshooting efforts related to gross-to-net outcomes, retroactive calculations, accruals, time valuation, and integration inconsistencies.

• Assess Workday's semiannual updates and identify features that enhance payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in processing.

• Collaborate with Payroll, HR Operations, Total Rewards, IT, Legal, and Compliance to gather requirements, influence design choices, and address complex challenges.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (must be completed and verified before starting).

• 5 years of experience in HR Technology in private, public, government, or military sectors.

• 5 years of experience in Workday configuration with a focus on Payroll in private, public, government, or military environments.

• Workday Pro certification is preferred.

• Strong expertise in US Workday Payroll (PATT).

• Demonstrated success in designing intricate pay calculation rules, accrual setups, time valuation, eligibility, and payroll workflows.

• Knowledge of union regulations, shift differentials, premium pay, and complex pay elements.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially concerning pay outcomes and time valuation.

• Experience in leading or mentoring analysts or technical team members.

• Strong project management abilities; capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.

• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with the Workday Scheduling module is preferred.
