This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Partner with IT and external vendors to design and implement HR technology solutions.
• Perform system testing and validation to ensure functionality.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for HR systems.
• Develop and deliver training materials and collateral for HR system users.
• Monitor system performance while identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Gather and document business requirements from HR stakeholders.
• Analyze and prioritize these requirements in alignment with business objectives.
• Create functional specifications for system enhancements and implementations.
• Participate in the configuration, customization, and integration of systems.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
• Address system defects and implement necessary fixes in collaboration with IT and vendors.
• Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and process flows for the system.
• Provide guidance and support to HR users.
• Manage HR technology projects from the planning phase through to monitoring.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and track project milestones.
• Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of HR system data.
• Develop and maintain HR reports and dashboards.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights that inform HR strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• An advanced degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in HR technology, HRIS, or a similar role.
• Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, and system design.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and workflows is essential.
• Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Skills to troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively.
• Ability to think critically and strategically regarding system enhancements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration.
• Experience in managing HR technology projects from start to finish.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
