HR Specialist – Southern Europe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main HR contact for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations to guarantee a seamless and compliant employee experience.

• Handle sensitive cases, participate in calls or meetings, and prepare legally compliant documentation.

• Develop and maintain relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.

• Act as the initial point of contact for client inquiries regarding benefits, payroll issues, compliance, and workforce planning.

• Keep updated on labor laws and cultural nuances in Southern Europe to offer practical guidance.

• Evaluate and provide recommendations on employment contracts and risk mitigation strategies.

• Assist clients in navigating Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and ensure timely implementation of salary adjustments.

• Function as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for employees’ immigration and mobility needs in conjunction with the Global Mobility team.

• Identify tasks that can be delegated, document processes, and ensure smooth transitions for operational efficiency.

• Promote automation and AI integration to enhance HR processes.

• Spearhead initiatives to standardize and refine HR practices on a global scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in HR.

• Proficient in both Spanish and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• Extensive knowledge of labor laws and a solid understanding of employment regulations throughout Southern Europe.

• Experience in managing complex employee relations.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Tech-savvy, familiar with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, and collaboration tools such as Zoom and Slack.
