This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Assist in the recruitment of caregivers, general staff, or candidates for specific roles.
• Screen resumes and organize interview schedules.
• Facilitate communication with applicants and staff concerning hiring and onboarding processes.
• Prepare, monitor, and manage onboarding requirements and employment documentation.
• Coordinate background checks and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Maintain precise employee records and personnel files.
• Collect and verify timesheets and attendance records.
• Aid in payroll preparation and data entry tasks.
• Keep payroll and compensation records up to date.
• Assist in the creation and revision of SOPs, checklists, and workflows.
• Maintain organized digital filing and document control systems.
• Support the preparation and organization of documents for internal or external audits.
• Monitor compliance-related documents to ensure records are thorough and current.
• Update trackers and internal records as necessary.
• Assist with daily HR and operational tasks.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred (not mandatory).
• Experience & Skills: A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a virtual HR assistant or remote HR role.
• Practical experience in US payroll processing (Gusto, ADP, Rippling, or similar platforms).
• Strong understanding of US labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
• Experience in creating or maintaining SOPs and process documentation.
• Ability to work independently with HRIS platforms and HR technology tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in managing payroll, records, and compliance documentation.
• Professional handling of confidential employee and financial information.
• Tools: Proficient in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with Asana for task management and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar finance/accounting software is advantageous.
• Comfortable using video communication tools (Zoom, Google Meet, or similar).
• Starting rate: $7/hour (dependent on experience and qualifications).
• 100% remote / work-from-home arrangement.
