This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversees the day-to-day functions of a designated HR Service Center pod, ensuring that associates receive prompt, precise, and high-quality assistance.
• Responsible for mentoring and developing a team of HR Service Center associates while fostering outstanding customer service and effective issue resolution.
• Manages routine transactions related to the pod that the associate is designated to support (e.g., associate inquiries, associate transitions, separations, I-9 verification).
• Conducts accurate and timely processing of HR transactions within the HCM system.
• Works closely with Payroll and Compensation teams to guarantee proper data flow and execution.
• Addresses and resolves complex issues that have been escalated by HR Shared Services associates.
• Assists the Department Manager in overseeing and ensuring the accurate implementation and administration of Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Manages Human Resource Administration for stores/regions, D.C.s, and the Home Office, offering technical support to associates on various issues.
• Evaluates and suggests improvements for systems and departmental processes as needed.
• Utilizes key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of service center associates and identify training needs.
• Assigns and delegates work tasks to service center associates to effectively meet customer demands.
• Gathers and analyzes service metrics to assess the performance of their respective pod area, identifying trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
• Continuously collaborates with the direct pod leader and other managers to exchange best practices and enhance efficiencies across the team.
• Partners with the HRIS to design and implement solutions for resolving technical issues.
• Facilitates team meetings and delivers presentations to HR Shared Services leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3+ years of experience in a Service Center environment.
• In-depth knowledge of HR process areas and services relevant to the supported pod.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements applicable to different regions, states, and population groups served.
• Skilled in courteously interacting with customers and ensuring their needs are fulfilled.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
• Competent in prioritizing tasks according to internal and external deadlines.
• Capable of remaining adaptable and responsive to business needs.
• Understanding of HR workflow design within TJX systems.
• Familiarity with navigating ServiceNow case and knowledge workflows.
• Ability to uphold confidentiality and adhere to privacy standards.
