HR Ops Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive multi-country payroll operations in partnership with external service providers.

• Ensure the precision and compliance of salaries, social contributions, and legal requirements.

• Manage employee benefits programs, including insurance, pension, mobility, and more.

• Investigate and rectify payroll discrepancies as they arise.

• Prepare and oversee employment contracts, amendments, and offboarding documents.

• Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding labor laws (Netherlands & Italy) and HR policies.

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding procedures, including visa and work permit requirements as necessary.

• Maintain employee documentation that is compliant and ready for audits.

• Manage sickness and absence protocols in accordance with local regulations.

• Ensure HR data is accurate and current within HR systems.

• Process changes affecting payroll and updates throughout the employee lifecycle.

• Serve as the primary contact for HR and payroll inquiries.

• Generate regular HR and payroll reports.

• Contribute to the enhancement, standardization, and automation of processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations, including payroll, administration, and contracts.

• Experience working in an international or multicultural setting.

• In-depth understanding of Dutch and/or Italian labor laws and payroll practices.

• Fluency in English along with Dutch or Italian is required.

• Strong proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Workday, CloudPay).

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Essential competencies include being detail-oriented, organized, proactive, independent, service-focused, and possessing excellent communication skills.
