This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
β’ Design and oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools, access, and training for immediate success.
β’ Oversee operations to comply with local legal requirements and lead security compliance initiatives (SOC2, data privacy audits, etc.).
β’ Take ownership of the annual performance evaluation cycle, applying frameworks that foster professional development and open feedback.
β’ Act as the main liaison for our international contractors, nurturing relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction, retention, and morale.
β’ Collaborate with the Recruiting team to assess hiring needs, track retention metrics, and enhance our overall talent strategy.
β’ Promote a positive, inclusive remote work culture that reflects our global values.
β’ A minimum of 4 years of experience in HR Management, ideally within remote-first startups.
β’ Your HR experience must be within a remote work setting.
β’ Availability to work full-time during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours is required.
β’ Candidates must be currently residing in Latin America (LATAM).
β’ Exceptional proficiency in professional English (both written and verbal).
β’ A comprehensive understanding of international contractor engagement models, compliance issues, and labor intricacies.
β’ Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts, build trust, and maintain high employee satisfaction scores.
β’ Capacity to analyze retention rates and hiring metrics to deliver actionable strategic recommendations.
β’ Responsible for ensuring operations comply with local legal standards.
