This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Implement global talent initiatives throughout Canada and the US, which encompass onboarding, mentoring, rewards, recognition, and employee engagement programs.

β€’ Offer daily support to employees concerning general HR inquiries, company policies, procedures, and local labor regulations.

β€’ Assist in managing US and Canadian benefits, including the annual renewal process, market assessments, open enrollment, and escalation of complex issues.

β€’ Work closely with the Finance and Payroll departments to gather and verify specific data needed for prompt and accurate payroll processing.

β€’ Provide guidance on compliance and North American employment legislation, ensuring strict adherence to local Labor Code mandates.

β€’ Update, maintain, and audit internal HRIS (Workday) data to guarantee data accuracy and enhance process efficiency.

β€’ Collaborate with the Global Talent Team on regional and global internal compliance initiatives.

β€’ Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process for mid-to-senior level roles across various departments.

β€’ Create and implement innovative sourcing strategies employing diverse tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, specialized job boards, networking, and referrals).

β€’ Evaluate candidates for both technical skills and cultural fit through screening and interviewing.

β€’ Work closely with hiring managers to comprehend evolving role requirements and deliver strategic talent acquisition advice.

β€’ Maintain, audit, and refresh the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure data precision and compliance.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Over 4 years of experience in Human Resources, demonstrating a successful track record in employee relations and full-cycle recruiting.

β€’ In-depth, practical understanding of Canadian and US labor laws and compliance regulations.

β€’ Outstanding organizational abilities with a proven capacity to manage multiple competing priorities and cross-border processes concurrently.

β€’ Practical experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.

β€’ Proficient in navigating and utilizing benefits and government portals.

β€’ Direct experience in hiring product-focused candidates from both US and Canadian locations.

β€’ Strong sourcing capabilities with extensive experience leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent acquisition platforms.

β€’ Proven background in a fast-paced, international, or matrixed organizational environment.

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
