This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily HR operations, including policies, procedures, employee records, and personnel documentation throughout the organization.

• Direct the recruitment, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes for security personnel and corporate support positions.

• Address employee issues, disciplinary actions, performance challenges, investigations, and workplace disputes while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations, security licensing standards, background checks, certifications, and company policies.

• Organize necessary security training, certifications, orientations, refresher courses, and professional development programs.

• Develop and oversee performance evaluations, attendance monitoring, corrective action procedures, employee retention strategies, and workforce engagement initiatives.

• Keep accurate employee records and collaborate with payroll and benefits providers regarding new hires, changes, timekeeping, leave, and employee eligibility.

• Collaborate with management to anticipate staffing needs, assist with scheduling and deployment, and ensure a qualified workforce for security services.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR.

• Ideally, experience leading HR operations in a security, private protection, facilities, staffing, or similarly intensive workforce organization.

• A solid understanding of the requirements for security personnel, including licensing, background checks, certifications, training, and compliance for both armed and unarmed officers is highly preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employee relations, labor and employment laws, workplace documentation, and compliance obligations.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal abilities, discretion, problem-solving skills, and confidence in engaging with employees and senior management.

• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in using HRIS, payroll/timekeeping systems, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and digital employee record management tools.
