This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Develop and implement the HR portfolio management framework, encompassing intake, prioritization criteria, stage gates, and quarterly HRLT review.
β’ Convert approved LRP investments into a prioritized and sequenced portfolio of projects.
β’ Maintain the portfolio status and RAID log; identify and communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
β’ Collaborate with project teams to ensure honest status updates, identify mitigations, and escalate risks that may affect timelines or benefits.
β’ Own and facilitate the project management framework and standards for the planning, execution, and closure of HR projects.
β’ Oversee and manage the Workforce Management (WFM) program across HR and enabling functions.
β’ Establish the framework and process for the annual HR budget.
β’ Track monthly HR budget expenditures against the plan and highlight variances with recommendations.
β’ Collaborate with HRLT and Finance to create the long-range plan while aligning investments with strategic priorities.
β’ Update and present the monthly HR Scorecard to HRLT.
β’ Maintain HR contributions to the quarterly Agilent Balanced Scorecard.
β’ Revise scorecard metrics with HRLT at the end of the year.
β’ Transform portfolio and operational data into narratives that reflect progress, risks, and value delivered.
β’ Govern and manage the HR Service Catalog.
β’ Oversee daily HR compliance activities and keep track of regulatory and policy changes.
β’ Coordinate with Legal, Privacy, Internal Audit, and regional teams to ensure current, audit-ready controls are maintained.
β’ Own and facilitate the HR vendor management framework, including governance cadence, performance standards, contracts, and renewals.
β’ Partner with Procurement and process owners on vendor selection, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
β’ Leverage AI and automation for reporting, portfolio and budget tracking, compliance monitoring, and scorecard production.
β’ Ensure HR AI and automation initiatives are represented in the portfolio with business cases, benefit tracking, and responsible-use guidelines.
β’ Build data foundations and reporting standards for transparent and comparable HR performance.
β’ A minimum of [10]+ years in HR, business operations, strategy, transformation, or portfolio and program management, with experience at an enterprise scale.
β’ Proven ownership of a portfolio, PMO, or governance function, including the development of the framework.
β’ Strong financial acumen in budget development and management, long-range planning, business case formulation, and benefit tracking.
β’ Experience in designing and reporting performance metrics or scorecards for a senior leadership audience.
β’ Demonstrated ability to influence and hold senior stakeholders accountable without formal authority.
β’ Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to distill complex portfolios into clear, concise one-page summaries.
β’ Familiarity with compliance and control environments, as well as vendor governance practices.
β’ Practical understanding of AI and automation applied to reporting and operational tasks.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
β’ Experience within HR or in support of an HR function, including knowledge of HR service delivery models and service catalogs.
β’ Experience in large HR or enterprise transformation programs.
