This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for specific employees and/or business units.
• Proactively facilitate HR process implementation and oversee designated HR projects.
• Act as an initial management contact for employee relations matters, involving the Director of HR when necessary.
• Conduct onboarding for new hires within assigned groups.
• Assist with the management of company benefits for specific groups.
• Collaborate with the Payroll Manager as required.
• Utilize and maintain Workday (HRIS) and Paylocity systems.
• Provide necessary training to employees and managers.
• Foster strong business relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to legislative regulations, identify compliance gaps, and recommend and implement necessary changes.
• Offer general HR assistance and contribute to assigned HR projects.
• Oversee OSHA logs and workplace safety, including the management of workers’ compensation claims.
• Act as a singular point of contact for specific employees and/or business units.
• Proficient in the use of Workday (HRIS) and Paylocity.
• Understanding of employee relations issues and escalation protocols.
• Familiarity with benefits administration processes.
• Knowledge of payroll support operations.
• Capability to deliver training to both employees and managers.
• Awareness of legislative compliance requirements.
• Competence in managing OSHA logs, workplace safety, and workers’ compensation claims.
• Support for company benefits administration, including enrollment, termination, and education.
