This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
β’ Act as a primary contact for team members and leadership, responding to HR-related inquiries concerning policies, timekeeping, payroll, benefits, and procedures for countries with international/remote EOR team members.
β’ Support employee relations by conducting investigations, which include interviewing team members, documenting issues, and escalating concerns when appropriate.
β’ Provide backup for onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes as necessary to ensure a smooth experience for team members, including facilitating new hire orientation, reviewing onboarding materials, and conducting exit interviews.
β’ Maintain and update information in the HRIS system by performing data entry and recordkeeping tasks, monitoring changes, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
β’ Partner with HR leadership to implement and endorse policies, events/programs, initiatives, and best practices that foster a positive workplace culture throughout the Firm.
β’ Assist in managing HR compliance for international/remote team members who are Rippling EOR (Employer of Record), specifically regarding country labor laws, including compensable time (work schedules/timekeeping), workplace policies, and Firm guidelines.
β’ Collaborate with Rippling and Rippling HR Advisors to ensure adherence to policies in existing and new international workplace locations.
β’ Supervise performance management during onboarding and assist with the annual performance review cycle.
β’ Provide support to HR team members (culture coordinator, talent acquisition, and training) with HR initiatives related to engagement, staffing, and training.
β’ Review and process employee claims concerning unemployment, workersβ compensation, leave of absence, and accommodations for all international/remote EOR team members.
β’ Assist in benefits administration, including the annual open enrollment process and responding to inquiries from team members.
β’ Must be fluent in both English and Spanish and reside in Columbia, Costa Rica, or the Dominican Republic.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
β’ A minimum of 2+ years of experience in an HR role, ideally as an HR Generalist or in a comparable position.
β’ Familiarity with employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations procedures.
β’ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally and tactfully.
β’ Capability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
β’ Experience with Rippling HRIS is highly preferred.
β’ High level of discretion and confidentiality when dealing with employee matters.
β’ HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
