πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee the entire process of our ATS (TeamTailor): posting job openings, managing candidate pipelines, coordinating interviews, and handling the offer process until the signed letter.

β€’ Collaborate with hiring managers to create structured interview guides, role scorecards, and evaluation rubrics.

β€’ Proactively source candidates for challenging roles through LinkedIn, job boards, and referral networks.

β€’ Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sourcing channels, time to fill, time to hire, and offer acceptance rates.

β€’ Stay updated on federal and state employment law changes impacting our remote workforce across multiple states.

β€’ Maintain I-9 records and ensure compliance with employment eligibility verification requirements.

β€’ Ensure accurate worker classification (W-2, 1099, EOR) in collaboration with finance and external counsel when necessary.

β€’ Manage the employee handbook and policy library, ensuring policies are current, clear, and consistently enforced.

β€’ Take ownership of the HiBob platform: managing employee records, onboarding and offboarding processes, time-off policy configurations, and ensuring data integrity.

β€’ Facilitate the new hire onboarding process from start to finish: handling documentation, coordinating systems access, and conducting 30/60/90-day check-ins.

β€’ Manage offboarding processes, including exit documentation, exit interviews, COBRA notifications, and final pay coordination.

β€’ Ensure accurate and clean data across HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems.

β€’ Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policy, benefits, PTO, and workplace issues.

β€’ Assist managers in navigating performance discussions, feedback across projects, and challenging employee situations.

β€’ Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable processes for structured feedback within a matrixed engineering environment.

β€’ Prepare and publish a monthly HR scorecard for executive review.

β€’ Take ownership of and continuously enhance core metrics: Time to Fill, Time to Hire, 90-Day Retention Rate, Voluntary Turnover Rate, Offer Acceptance Rate, Internal Mobility Rate, and Average Tenure at Separation.

β€’ Convert data into actionable insights β€” focusing on what the numbers represent and subsequent actions to be taken.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Coordinator β€” with a background in recruiting, compliance, and people operations, rather than just one area.

β€’ Proven experience managing full-cycle recruiting independently, from the initial intake to the offer stage.

β€’ Solid understanding of fundamental employment laws: FLSA, ADA, FMLA, I-9, and the complexities of multi-state compliance.

β€’ Experience as a solo or nearly solo HR professional in a company with 20–150 employees.

β€’ Proficient with an ATS and an HRIS platform β€” comfortable learning new tools and quickly adapting to them.

β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills β€” capable of drafting clear policies, empathetic employee communications, and executive-level reports.
