HR Credentialing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborates closely with the screening vendor to verify and validate all components of assigned pre-employment background checks, ensuring that target start dates are achieved.

• Initiates orders for drug screenings and medical services, while assisting the vendor in scheduling and gathering vaccine, immunity, and drug testing results.

• Compiles and organizes all relevant pre-employment documentation generated and received during the pre-screening process for all designated candidates.

• Communicates verbal and electronic pre-adverse action notifications to candidates who do not satisfy the company's pre-employment screening criteria.

• Serves as a communication bridge between the screening vendor, candidates, and the talent acquisition team.

• Offers personalized credentialing assistance to internal and external customers, as well as new hires, to facilitate on-site clearance.

• Arranges ad hoc drug tests, background checks, and medical services while tracking their progress.

• Provides updates on credentialing progress for new hires and current team members to Recruiters, Managers, and HR Operations.

• Utilizes the credentialing database to manage credentialing information, including the establishment of new hire credentialing profiles.

• Oversees and processes the HR Credentialing inbox.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in a human resource or clinical credentialing specialist role.

• An Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources position or a similar role is preferred.

• Familiarity with conducting pre-employment background checks, drug screenings, and medical services.

• Experience in responding to accreditation, Department of Health, and government surveys.

• Knowledge of radiologic technology certification boards is a plus.
