HR Coordinator

📋 Description

• Act as the main administrator for specific UKG HRIS processes and transactions, such as onboarding new hires, promotions, compensation adjustments, and terminations.

• Prepare and manage employment-related documentation, which includes status changes, change memos, employment verifications, and separation documents.

• Maintain digital personnel files and HR records within UKG.

• Resolve issues for employees and managers regarding HRIS functionality and access.

• Assist in testing and implementing new features.

• Regularly audit HRIS records to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Reconcile HR, payroll, and benefits information to confirm consistency and accuracy.

• Coordinate administrative processes related to AmeriCorps member benefits programs, including eligibility verification, enrollment, changes, and terminations.

• Manage the department email inbox and address benefits-related inquiries.

• Perform monthly reconciliation of benefits between payroll, HRIS, benefit carriers, and vendor invoices.

• Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections with vendors, payroll, finance, and employees.

• Maintain a digital library of benefit resources.

• Address documentation requests for internal and external audits.

• Complete I-9 and E-Verify processes within mandated timelines.

• Track and monitor employee compliance requirements, including policy acknowledgments, training records, and employee files.

• Assist with year-end reporting and compliance activities.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.

• Keep employee records updated across various organizational systems.


⛳️ Requirements

• An associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, HR Operations, or similar administrative support roles.

• Familiarity with an HRIS system, preferably UKG.

• Strong administrative and organizational capabilities, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, sorting, filtering, and data validation.

• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
