This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
β’ Establishes and cultivates a prominent and positive HR presence in any market that requires additional HR support; in airports with a vacancy in the HR department, acts as the temporary PCBP for daily operations on-site.
β’ Travels to new airport retail and restaurant locations transitioning into the company portfolio to onboard new team members, deliver training, and implement company policies on-site; fosters an environment of being the employer of choice at the airport by ensuring new team members are welcomed and supported during their transition.
β’ Provides insights and an overview of any issues on-site when assisting branches to the Senior Director of People and Culture Operations.
β’ Maintains comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices, federal/state/local regulations, and company HR policies and procedures; ensures all are fully considered before making decisions to minimize risk and exposure to the organization.
β’ Assists hiring managers with recruitment; aids in identifying candidates for open positions while adhering to the companyβs hiring protocols.
β’ Manages and resolves employee relations issues; conducts confidential HR investigations.
β’ Advises leadership on compliance, engagement, retention, training, and disciplinary matters as they arise; communicates trends, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement for the locations they support.
β’ Supports and coordinates all people and culture initiatives and business practices.
β’ Collaborates with the corporate People & Culture department to enhance practices that improve transitions and training.
β’ A combination of education and professional experience must exceed 6 years.
β’ In a leadership capacity: Requires 2 years of experience supervising a team of professionals executing HR programs.
β’ In a technical capacity: Requires 6-8 years of experience in developing and delivering HR programs.
β’ A bachelor's degree in a related functional area can account for 3 of the 6-year requirement.
β’ An MBA or a masterβs level degree in a related functional area can account for an additional 2 years of the 6-year requirement.
β’ 3-5 years of experience in Hospitality, F&B, and/or Retail.
β’ 3-5 years of specialized training: Knowledge of federal and state regulations and statutes.
β’ SHRM certification is preferred.
β’ Advanced knowledge across various HR domains including, but not limited to, benefits, recruiting, employee relations, and compensation.
β’ Requires proficiency with HRIS and business software/systems; expertise in preparing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
β’ Possesses business acumen and the mindset needed to understand the long-term implications of HR planning and to further the organization's goals.
β’ Demonstrated history of understanding the needs of the business, stakeholders, the employee population, and individual circumstances.
