This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• We are seeking a seasoned HR Business Partner (HRBP) to take on a pivotal role in facilitating Ashby’s upcoming growth phase.
• You will work in close collaboration with various functional teams to offer proactive insights across essential areas that contribute to our success.
• Prioritizing employee development, nurturing a high-performance culture, and ensuring competitive and fair compensation structures should be of equal importance to you.
• In your capacity as an HRBP, you will convert business objectives into a people strategy that aligns with Ashby’s long-term vision.
• You’ll act as a trusted strategic advisor to leaders, assisting in aligning people operations strategies with overarching business objectives while also delving into the specifics to ensure our processes and procedures operate seamlessly.
• You will adeptly shift between strategic initiatives and administrative tasks, providing support to the team whenever necessary.
• You possess extensive experience (approximately 8 years) in HR/People Operations, particularly in scaling an organization from around 200 to 1,000 employees.
• You can showcase strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on coaching, facilitation, and policy development.
• A dynamic environment that balances strategic planning with hands-on execution invigorates you.
• You are capable of working effectively both independently and within a team setting.
• Your experience includes supporting a globally distributed and asynchronous workforce.
• You have a solid understanding of US employment law, compensation frameworks, and training and development initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement is integral to your approach - you are detail-oriented and consistently seek ways to enhance People Ops/HR processes and procedures.
• Successfully managing complex employee relations challenges is one of your key strengths.
• You are experienced in utilizing HRIS, compensation management tools, and various HR instruments to drive operational excellence.
