This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the key HR partner for operational leaders.
β’ Deliver both strategic and everyday HR counsel.
β’ Collaborate on workforce planning, organizational structuring, restructuring, staffing, and retention strategies.
β’ Provide guidance and coaching to leaders in navigating complex employee relations issues.
β’ Carry out workplace investigations and create unbiased documentation.
β’ Evaluate investigation results and suggest corrective measures.
β’ Mentor leaders on performance management, corrective actions, PIPs, demotions, and terminations.
β’ Assist leaders with documentation and performance discussions.
β’ Collaborate on intricate leave and accommodation issues, including the Interactive Process and planning for return-to-work.
β’ Interpret and apply employment laws while advising on wage and hour regulations.
β’ Keep abreast of legislative updates and propose policy or practice modifications.
β’ Aid in HR audits and ensure compliance with employment documentation.
β’ Guide managers on engagement, conflict resolution, challenging conversations, accountability, leadership effectiveness, team development, and change management.
β’ Promote employee engagement, retention, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
β’ Analyze trends in turnover, performance, leave usage, investigations, and employee relations.
β’ Collaborate with Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Learning & Development, and Operations.
β’ Review employment documentation and assist with office openings, acquisitions, restructures, leadership transitions, workforce planning, special HR projects, and company-wide initiatives.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or a comparable combination of education and experience).
β’ At least 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including a minimum of 3 years in an HR Business Partner, Employee Relations, or HR Generalist role supporting managers.
β’ Proven experience in managing complex employee relations issues from initiation to resolution.
β’ Practical experience in conducting workplace investigations.
β’ Familiarity with supporting ADA accommodations and the Interactive Process.
β’ In-depth knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, FEHA, FLSA, Title VII, and other relevant federal and state employment laws.
β’ Experience in managing leave administration and intricate medical leave and accommodation cases.
β’ Background in coaching leaders through performance management, disciplinary actions, and challenging employee conversations.
β’ Experience supporting multiple locations within a multi-state organization.
β’ Outstanding written communication and documentation capabilities.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
β’ Ability to exercise sound judgment in handling highly confidential information.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 50% as business needs dictate.
β’ Preferred: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
β’ Preferred: experience in healthcare, retail, hospitality, or other fast-paced multi-site organizations.
β’ Preferred: experience within organizations having 500+ employees.
β’ Preferred: familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Rippling.
β’ Preferred: experience in supporting organizational growth, acquisitions, and change management initiatives.
