• Act as the main HR partner for frontline employees and operational/functional leaders within designated leadership teams, which include multi-site practice operations and support teams.
• Mentor leaders on everyday people management topics such as team dynamics, communication issues, performance expectations, and developmental conversations.
• Prepare leaders for performance and development discussions and manage follow-up actions.
• Assist with onboarding new leaders and promote uniform people leadership practices.
• Handle employee relations matters of moderate complexity.
• Conduct investigations and document findings in accordance with established practices.
• Recognize trends early and escalate patterns or risk scenarios as necessary.
• Collaborate with leaders to ensure actions are fair, timely, and consistent.
• Implement core HR processes, including engagement action planning, performance evaluations, development cycles, and mandatory training sessions.
• Promote consistent messaging and the use of HR tools, expectations, practices, and programs.
• Work with leaders to track trends in engagement, retention, and team stability and follow up on agreed action plans.
• Assist leaders during organizational changes by ensuring clear communication, maintaining team stability, and facilitating the adoption of new processes and expectations.
• Provide consistent HR guidance across the assigned region or business unit.
• Collaborate with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development, and internal business partners to enhance the employee experience.
• Gather feedback and insights to inform workforce planning, leadership development needs, team dynamics, and organizational effectiveness.
• Analyze workforce trends such as retention, vacancies, and engagement metrics with leaders and aid in developing targeted action plans.
• Serve as the primary HR partner for frontline and operational/functional leaders within a specific region, market, or functional group.
• Generally supports multiple locations, practice operations teams, and/or shared services groups across different states.
• Independently manage cases involving moderate-complexity employee relations and performance support; escalate high-risk or highly complex issues as required.
• Function autonomously while ensuring close alignment with HRBP colleagues and leadership to maintain consistent practices across the organization.
• May participate in cross-functional project work that aligns with operational needs, capacity, and readiness.
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, employee support, leadership operations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in coaching leaders through daily people management situations (e.g., communication, feedback, and managing expectations).
• Capability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive issues with sound judgment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-site or matrix environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to track progress and drive actions to completion.
• Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, leave administration, anti-discrimination laws, and workplace investigations.
• Experience in supporting healthcare or clinical operations environments, or other multi-site and multi-state service organizations. (Preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). (Preferred)
• Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday, including navigation and transactional experience. (Preferred)
