This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver HR support to HCM Unlocked Fractional HR clients across a variety of HR topics, including employee relations, and efficiently resolve any arising issues through effective problem-solving.
• Act as the main HR contact for a designated portfolio of clients, fostering trusted advisor relationships while gaining an understanding of each client's business, culture, workforce, and HR priorities.
• Provide daily HR guidance on employee relations matters, which involves coaching client administrators and/or managers on employee performance, documentation, workplace issues, and policy interpretation, and when necessary, support workplace investigations and documentation appropriately.
• Suggest HR best practices while recognizing instances when strategic or legal matters need to be escalated.
• Assist in talent management and employee development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, updating policies and procedures as necessary.
• Aid in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, including the creation, updates, and maintenance of the Employee Handbook.
• Assist clients with ad hoc policy and procedure governance and updates to ensure employee safety, while providing recommendations for continuous process improvements.
• Prepare documentation, schedule, and facilitate a seamless new hire onboarding experience, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional welcome.
• Utilize HRIS software to manage employee recordkeeping, status changes, benefits, leaves, and absence administration.
• Maintain employee files and records in both electronic and paper formats, including benefits and attendance records.
• When required, oversee the recruitment process which includes posting job requisitions, identifying candidates, conducting background screenings, and issuing offer letters.
• Assist clients in handling various information requests from governmental agencies, such as unemployment inquiries.
• Support clients in executing their performance management processes, including new hire reviews, disciplinary actions, and mid-year/full-year appraisals based on client needs.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and additional service offerings.
• Recognize risks, service gaps, and opportunities to enhance the overall client experience with HCM Unlocked.
• Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, template development, and best practices across the HR consulting team.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.
• Proven experience with employee relations and a strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Proficient in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP WFN, Paylocity, Paycor UKG, Rippling, etc.).
• SHRM or PHR certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capacity to remain composed while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate within the timeframe of standard policies and procedures.
• Capability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive company and employee information.
• Experience in consulting or multi-client service environments within the HCM industry is preferred.
