This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assist in the recruitment, screening, interviewing, and hiring processes for security personnel and administrative staff.
β’ Oversee the onboarding of new hires, including background checks, employment documentation, orientations, credentialing, and employee separation procedures.
β’ Ensure the maintenance of accurate and confidential personnel files, HR databases, attendance records, employment documentation, certifications, licenses, and other essential records.
β’ Aid in ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, security licensing obligations, and industry-specific regulations.
β’ Coordinate necessary employee training, security officer training programs, firearms qualifications where applicable, safety compliance, and ongoing professional development.
β’ Act as an HR point of contact for employees and management, providing assistance with workplace issues, performance challenges, disciplinary measures, policy inquiries, and conflict resolution.
β’ Support payroll-related HR information, timekeeping, administration of employee benefits, leave tracking, and resolving personnel or attendance discrepancies.
β’ Generate HR reports, monitor staffing and turnover metrics, assist with audits and investigations, and support leadership with workforce planning and other HR initiatives across commercial and residential security operations.
β’ At least 5+ years of progressive experience in HR or as a Human Resources Associate.
β’ Preferably experienced in supporting a security, staffing, private services, or similarly regulated organization.
β’ Strongly preferred familiarity with security personnel operations, licensing and credentialing, background checks, employee certifications, and staffing requirements for armed/unarmed security, patrol, loss prevention, and firewatch services.
β’ Solid knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, confidentiality, employment regulations, recordkeeping, and compliance standards.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Keen attention to detail, discretion, organizational skills, and the capability to manage multiple employee and HR issues simultaneously.
β’ Proficient in HRIS, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and digital HR systems.
β’ Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and support a dynamic workforce.
