This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and facilitate workplace investigations related to inappropriate conduct, sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and unfair employment practices.
• Execute fact-finding efforts, including conducting interviews, reviewing documentation, and analyzing evidence.
• Create clear, well-documented, and legally defensible investigation reports and recommendations.
• Offer guidance to associates and People Leaders on intricate employee relations issues, sensitive workplace matters, and organizational risk.
• Collaborate with People Leaders to address findings from investigations, determine appropriate actions, and resolve interpersonal conflicts.
• Mentor leaders on managing employee concerns, promoting appropriate workplace behaviors, and preventing the recurrence of employee relations issues.
• Work together with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure consistent policy application and enhance self-service and proactive issue-resolution resources.
• Recognize trends in investigations and employee relations, partnering with HR leadership to improve processes, standardize practices, and mitigate risks.
• Maintain precise and timely case documentation that adheres to internal standards and legal guidelines.
• Develop and revise investigation procedures, documentation standards, and best practices.
• Assist with accommodation cases and performance management consultations as necessary.
• Engage in projects and initiatives led by the People Experience leadership team.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or a minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources as an HR Business Partner, Advisor, Manager, or Generalist.
• Proven experience in conducting and managing investigations related to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, inappropriate behavior, unfair employment practices, and policy violations.
• In-depth understanding of relevant employment laws.
• Capability to manage complex and sensitive employee relations issues with sound judgment, objectivity, and a risk-based approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in producing clear, comprehensive, and legally defensible documentation.
• Ability to work independently, juggle multiple cases concurrently, and drive timely resolutions with minimal supervision.
• Strong consulting and relationship management capabilities.
• Interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, including the ability to de-escalate issues and facilitate effective outcomes.
• Business acumen and analytical skills, encompassing the ability to identify trends, assess risks, and inform decisions within operational contexts.
