This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the primary contact for employees seeking assistance from HR, troubleshooting issues and directing inquiries appropriately.
• Assist employees in navigating self-service tools, resources, HR systems, and direct access materials.
• Adhere to and maintain established HR Advisor workflows.
• Oversee the onboarding process by managing post-offer screenings, collaborating with Talent Acquisition and site leadership, fulfilling HRIS requirements, and ensuring readiness for the first day.
• Collaborate with field Business Office Managers and Specialists to monitor employee documentation and validate certifications.
• Carry out annual background screenings for staff and medical directors, reporting any concerns to the Regional HR Director.
• Conduct compliance audits and elevate any findings or irregularities to HR leadership.
• Draft, prepare, and format HR letters, documents, presentations, and other communications.
• Maintain accurate employee records for both home office and field locations.
• Evaluate field documentation for compliance with CHAP standards and state and local regulations.
• Cultivate professional relationships with colleagues, leaders, and vendors.
• Contribute to retention programs, employee engagement surveys, and ESG-related initiatives.
• Provide HRIS support, including password resets, PAF guidance, and entry-level system tasks.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Up to three (3) years of experience in an administrative office setting.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience in Human Resources or a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Knowledge of HR processes, policies, best practices, and relevant state and federal labor laws.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to solve problems in a busy environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive demeanor.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Must reside within the California market territory.
