Housing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate housing market information, encompassing rental trends, supply, and affordability across primary markets.

• Monitor and summarize local housing regulations and policy advancements.

• Develop and sustain dashboards and reports that track market conditions.

• Create concise written briefs and presentations for cross-functional stakeholders.

• Collaborate with policy, partnerships, and business teams to address high-priority inquiries.

• Detect data gaps and assist in enhancing the sourcing and maintenance of housing data.

• Support a global travel and hospitality platform in comprehending housing markets and their impacts on its business and communities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in housing, real estate, urban economics, or public policy analysis.

• Proficient in SQL and spreadsheet analysis.

• Skilled in converting complex data into clear, actionable insights.

• Exceptional written communication abilities.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines independently.

• Preferred: Experience with Python or R.

• Preferred: Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.

• Preferred: Understanding of short-term or long-term rental markets.

• Preferred: Advanced degree in economics, urban planning, public policy, or a similar field.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
