• Execute proactive and strategic sales initiatives for a portfolio comprising 6 multi-branded hotels.
• Foster a sales-oriented environment with General Managers and Front Desk personnel by sharing effective practices and facilitating peer coaching.
• Responsible for enhancing ROI for hotel partners while reaching revenue milestones within a condensed 6-month sales cycle.
• Activate new accounts in the local market and enhance market share from existing clients through targeted and strategic prospecting.
• Conduct bi-weekly sales strategy presentations via MS Teams with each assigned hotel to report on progress.
• Cultivate and manage a sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM to oversee accounts and expedite the sales cycle.
• Support the Dynamic Sales Solution model by collaborating closely with your designated POD (team) to boost revenue across the hotel portfolio.
• Create exceptional client experiences, manage client expectations, and uphold a high standard of client satisfaction by acting as an integrated extension of the hotel and representing clients with professionalism and integrity.
• Willingness to travel for bimonthly in-market visits to enhance and solidify client relationships with Hotel Owners, General Managers, and teams, which will help expand sales targets and increase revenue.
• Hotel Industry Sales Experience: Minimum of 3 consecutive years in hotel guestroom sales experience within business transient, crew, and government segments at a select service hotel.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in a Dual or Area hotel sales position.
• Strong grasp of hotel systems, RFP processes, and brand tools.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills to ensure that prospecting efforts convert into realized revenue.
• Demonstrated history of meeting and surpassing sales objectives.
• Capability to establish and sustain relationships with hotel clients and team members.
• General knowledge of hotel operations.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience utilizing a CRM system to manage your sales pipeline and be accountable for daily activities and follow-ups to track progress within your sales cycle.
• Strong competence in using all Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) to effectively manage your hotel portfolio by creating and analyzing reports, delivering presentations, and providing progress updates.
• Ability to work remotely from your home office at a computer for extended periods.
• Must be fluent in French to communicate with French-speaking clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to produce and deliver general correspondence, proposals, and reports.
• Strong organizational, time management, and adaptability skills are essential.
