This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Act as the main liaison for the Hospital sector in the Mid-America area by overseeing a team of account management representatives.
• Foster and enhance collaborations with key decision-makers within hospitals and health systems.
• Create and implement strategic sales initiatives aimed at hospitals and integrated delivery networks (IDNs).
• Generate revenue through diagnostic solutions using a consultative sales methodology.
• Establish and sustain relationships at the executive level within health systems.
• Identify and chase new business prospects across diagnostic offerings.
• Work in partnership with marketing, medical affairs, and operations to ensure alignment of solutions with customer requirements.
• Lead contract negotiations, respond to RFPs, and spearhead value-based selling initiatives.
• Evaluate industry trends, segment developments, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to inform go-to-market strategies and discover growth prospects.
• Project revenue and pipeline growth utilizing CRM tools and analytics.
• Guide, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent.
• Conduct performance evaluations, territory planning, and pipeline reviews.
• Collaborate with the VP of Sales and divisional VP/General Managers to achieve business objectives and growth targets.
• Promote excellence in customer relationship management across key hospital and health system partners.
• Provide mentorship and support to regional sales teams.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare commercial sales.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated success in selling to hospitals, IDNs, and C-suite executives.
• Experience in managing and developing sales teams within a complex, matrixed environment.
• Strong comprehension of laboratory workflows, reimbursement processes, and clinical value drivers.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
• Preferred: 8 years of experience in diagnostics or medical device sales.
• Preferred: An advanced degree or MBA.
