Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia services for pets in their homes.

• Serve families located in Toms River, Brick Township, Freehold, Manchester Township, the Jersey Shore Area, and nearby metropolitan regions.

• Operate independently while on the road, with support and collaboration from the hospice team.

• Conduct a limited number of appointments each day, ensuring an unhurried pace.

• Listen attentively to families, explain end-of-life care options, respond to challenging questions, and facilitate dignified farewells.

• Select and manage a personal schedule ranging from 2 to 5 days per week.

• Choose 4 weekend days each month based on your availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree is required.

• A valid U.S. Driver's License is necessary.

• Must be able to select 4 weekend days each month.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

• Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record review is required prior to the start date.
