Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate hospice and at-home euthanasia services for pets in their own environments.

• Work autonomously while traveling between various appointments.

• Provide support to families, addressing challenging questions and assisting them in saying goodbye with dignity and peace.

• Conduct a limited number of appointments each day to avoid double-booking or hurrying through visits.

• Listen attentively, explain details, and honor each pet's unique story.

• Collaborate with and receive support from seasoned colleagues.

• Engage in onboarding, training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.

• A valid U.S. Driver's License is necessary.

• Select four weekend days each month that suit your lifestyle.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and up to 90 lbs with help.

• License verification is mandatory prior to the start date.

• A background check will be conducted before the start date.

• Driving record review is required before commencing employment.
