Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Deliver empathetic hospice and at-home euthanasia services in the comfort of pets' homes.

• Operate independently while traveling throughout Grand Rapids, Wyoming, Rockford, Kentwood, Michigan, and the surrounding metropolitan areas.

• Manage a limited number of appointments each day to ensure an unrushed experience.

• Spend time with families, address challenging inquiries, clarify care options, and assist them in saying farewell with dignity and tranquility.

• Work collaboratively with the hospice team and receive guidance from seasoned colleagues.

• Engage in onboarding processes, personalized mentorship, and continual training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.

• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License.

• Select four weekend days each month that align with your personal schedule.

• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

• Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record evaluation prior to the start date.
