Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia services to pets in their own homes.

• Operate independently while traveling to appointments throughout the San Fernando, Simi Valley, and Burbank regions.

• Take the time to listen to families, clarify end-of-life choices, and assist them in saying farewell with dignity.

• Manage a limited number of appointments each day to avoid double-booking and ensure no rush.

• Engage in onboarding, receive personalized mentorship, and pursue ongoing professional development.

• Provide support to families during challenging end-of-life situations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.

• A valid U.S. Driver's License.

• Select 4 weekend days each month that align with your personal schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 90 lbs with help.

• Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record assessment prior to the start date.
