Hospice Triage RN – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer telephone triage services for hospice patients and their families.

• Evaluate patient conditions to determine the appropriate subsequent actions.

• Work collaboratively with on-call teams to facilitate care and resource coordination.

• Ensure precise documentation of all communications and interventions.

• Maintain a composed and professional attitude while managing urgent calls.

• Deliver essential after-hours support and coordinate timely interventions for hospice patients receiving care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is highly preferred.

• Proficient with technology and electronic medical records (EMR) for call documentation.

• Capable of typing documentation and notes in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to manage stress and multitask effectively while receiving calls.

• Strong communication skills and critical thinking abilities.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting.

• Consistent attendance, proactive communication, and stable internet connectivity during all scheduled shifts.

• Availability to work every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST.
