Home Infusion Field Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional, patient-focused care to individuals undergoing intrathecal pain or spasticity management therapy in both home and clinical settings.

• Maintain a flexible schedule while traveling within a radius of up to 180 miles.

• Administer and oversee intrathecal pump therapy for patients experiencing chronic pain or spasticity.

• Conduct pump refills, reprogramming, and troubleshooting in collaboration with prescribing providers.

• Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding medication regimens, pump functionality, and indicators of adverse reactions or infections.

• Work in conjunction with physicians, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team to guarantee continuity and quality of care.

• Record care activities, assessments, and communications accurately and promptly in electronic medical records.

• Operate Monday through Friday in a full-time, permanent capacity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) possessing an active, unencumbered license in the practicing state.

• Additional licensure or compact status is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in home infusion or pain management.

• Experience in home health is preferred.

• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.

• Current TB Skin test or QuantiFERON blood test conducted within the last 12 months.

• Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a home environment and managing a mobile work schedule.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Capability to perform one-person CPR continuously in accordance with American Heart/Red Cross standards.

• Ability to travel by car, train, or plane.

• Capacity to lift, move, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 5 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
