Home Care Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver home assistance services, encompassing general housekeeping tasks and preparing beds.

• Clean, mop, and vacuum various floor surfaces.

• Wash, fold, and iron laundry items.

• Prepare meals and handle grocery shopping.

• Assist clients with getting out of bed, showering, and dressing.

• Support clients in managing their medications.

• Aid with mobility and therapeutic goals.

• Provide specialized care for clients with extensive needs, such as those with dementia.

• Offer social and emotional support to clients.

• Transport clients to recreational activities or appointments.

• Give family caregivers some respite.

• Work autonomously and devise solutions for daily challenges.

• Seek assistance from the manager when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months' experience in a comparable professional role.

• Background in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medication management.

• Possession of a valid Australian Driver's Licence.

• Have access to an insured and roadworthy vehicle.

• USI# is required.

• Selected candidates must complete a Statutory Declaration.

• A National Police check is mandatory.

• A Working Rights check is necessary.

• Completion of a pre-employment functional assessment is required.
