HL7 v2 Interface Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage and oversee HL7 v2.4 interfaces, including Z-segments, utilizing MLLP and HTTP-wrapped transports.

• Establish and uphold interface control documents for each connected partner.

• Diagnose message failures, acknowledgment issues, and partner-side modifications until resolved.

• Assist with shadow comparison and cutover testing as interfaces transition to FHIR.

• Maintain privileged production access in compliance with the program's security protocols.

• Contribute to a Defense Health Agency initiative focused on migrating legacy HL7 v2 interfaces to FHIR R4.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing HL7 v2 interfaces in a production healthcare setting.

• Hands-on experience with an interface engine such as Rhapsody, Mirth, or a similar tool.

• Proficient in writing or updating interface control documents.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining Tier 3 investigation and IT-II designation essential for the privileged position.

• Active Secret clearance or eligibility for Secret clearance is preferred.

• Familiarity with FHIR R4 is advantageous.

• Experience in DoD or VA health IT is desirable.

• Preference for candidates with 24x7 operations or on-call experience.
