This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Deliver high-quality, professional customer support for Cornelis Networks products.
• Assume technical responsibility for issues reported by users, guiding diagnosis and resolution.
• Handle incoming customer support inquiries through email, portal messages, or phone calls.
• Elevate issues in accordance with established procedures.
• Occasionally assist with off-hours on-call responsibilities.
• Collaborate across various functions with technical teams to identify and resolve problems.
• Assist OEMs and system integrators with the installation and acceptance of new clusters.
• Provide support remotely or on-site as required.
• Ensure customers are prepared for product updates and comprehend their implications.
• Contribute insights for upgrade and preliminary capability materials and documentation.
• Represent customer interests during product planning and maintenance phases.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Resume must be submitted in English.
• Over 5 years of programming experience with C, C++, Perl, Python, and/or Fortran.
• Familiarity with Linux scripting.
• More than 5 years of experience in system troubleshooting and network configuration.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work across different geographies, time zones, companies, and organizations.
• Willingness to travel to Cornelis headquarters for periodic meetings and training.
• Ability to travel to partner/customer locations up to 25% of the time, and 50% during peak periods.
• B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or over 5 years of equivalent experience in hardware or software development, validation, training, or technical support.
• Related experience in high-performance networking is preferred.
• Experience in developing or troubleshooting Linux device drivers is preferred.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and managing enterprise Linux servers in clustered environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of parallel programming, particularly MPI and/or SHMEM, and troubleshooting in HPC/AI cluster environments is preferred.
• Two years of experience with multiple operating systems is preferred.
• InfiniBand experience is preferred.
• Experience with cluster storage is preferred.
• Ability to analyze, deconstruct, and understand complex problems, and effectively communicate solutions.
• Competence in managing customer expectations while balancing customer requests with business needs.
• Experience providing user support in a network or HPC environment.
