HEDIS Auditor Trainee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acquire and implement HEDIS concepts in accordance with HEDIS Technical Specifications and client directives by utilizing Advantmed training materials.

• Complete recorded measure training sessions, review demo records, participate in supplemental training, and undertake measure training assessments and test records within the training portal.

• Report to the HEDIS QA Manager throughout the training period.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer to abstractors during both their training phase and the live season after fulfilling trainee prerequisites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be prepared to commit to 20-40 hours per week during training and throughout the entire HEDIS season.

• Applicants should be available to work between 6 AM and 6 PM EST.

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

• A minimum of 2 years/seasons of experience in HEDIS Abstraction/Review is required.

• Medical Coder Certification: CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA from AAPC or AHIMA OR Licensed Nurse: LPN, LVN, RN with an active license is essential.

• A base score of 97.5% overall must be achieved.

• All training must be completed within the specified timeline.

• Must attempt all training as scheduled in the HEDIS training planner or inform the HEDIS Manager of any schedule changes.

• A professional demeanor and a strong willingness to learn are mandatory.
