This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• In the role of Healthcare Sales Director, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing a plan for sales growth and profitability.
• Create a strategy aimed at retaining and expanding business, with an emphasis on healthcare clientele.
• This entails analyzing data and metrics to pinpoint top accounts and distribution channels within the region, including corporate, regional, and local accounts, while developing a clear resource and sales plan to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
• Assemble a high-performing team by hiring and nurturing talent, coaching and mentoring team members to help them reach their goals, and promoting a positive and winning team culture.
• Assist sales teams in finalizing significant deals or managing intricate negotiations, which includes participating in sales strategy sessions, problem-solving, and consistently engaging with key end users and distributors.
• Revenue and performance management: Oversee regional sales performance through KPIs and sales metrics.
• Utilize the Salesforce.com dashboard to lead and manage essential activities related to account management, opportunities, account retention, and employee development.
• Guarantee consistent achievement (or surpassing!) of sales and profit goals.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the region.
• Collaborate with distributors, key account teams, and internal resources to achieve results.
• Optimize opportunities, co-develop strategies, and jointly deliver solutions that ensure customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and value creation.
• Actively exemplify Solenis’ core values.
• Acquire expertise in institutional cleaning and Diversey products and programs.
• Comprehend stakeholders' priorities in healthcare settings to credibly present solutions that cater to their specific needs.
• Leverage this knowledge to assist team members in advancing the sales process by creating advantageous differentiation and value for customers.
• Conduct performance evaluations with employees, customers, and distributors to demonstrate the value delivered and identify growth and improvement opportunities.
• Complete essential administrative tasks such as updating Salesforce.com, managing expenses, pricing, performance reviews, employee development plans, and overseeing budgets and marketing funds.
• A preferred Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of outside sales experience, or a high school diploma with 6+ years of relevant outside sales experience.
• A valid US Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% overnight.
• Capability to lift approximately 40 lbs. and operate various required equipment.
• Proficiency in building relationships and identifying needs at multiple levels within the user organization.
• Ability to integrate the user's needs with our offerings to determine the optimal solution for the end user.
• Business and financial acumen to negotiate with larger clients, adapt to trends, and achieve profitability improvements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent presentation abilities.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and knowledgeable in CRM systems.
