Healthcare Revenue Cycle Coding Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Stabilize the coding team

• Lead the transition from the 100% coder review model

• Ensure compliance and maintain revenue integrity

• Support initiatives related to healthcare Revenue Cycle technology and operations

• Collaborate with senior executives in Revenue Cycle, Finance, and IT

• Direct complex application implementations, optimization initiatives, and transformation programs in the Revenue Cycle

• Oversee teams and intricate healthcare technology projects

• Navigate competing priorities within a multifaceted health system environment

⛳️ Requirements

• Contract position for 3–4 months with the possibility of extension

• Background in coding leadership

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare IT, Revenue Cycle technology, operations, or a related discipline

• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing teams and complex healthcare technology projects

• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare Revenue Cycle processes in both hospital and professional billing settings

• Extensive experience with Epic or another major enterprise healthcare Revenue Cycle platform

• Proven experience in collaboration with senior executives in Revenue Cycle, Finance, and IT

• Experience in leading complex application implementations, optimization projects, or Revenue Cycle transformation initiatives

• Strong grasp of healthcare data, interfaces, workflows, application architecture, and system dependencies

• Demonstrated capacity to manage competing priorities in a complex health system environment

• Epic certification and/or substantial leadership experience with Epic Revenue Cycle applications, especially Resolute HB/PB (preferred)

• Familiarity with Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, HIM, Claims, and other Epic Revenue Cycle functionalities (preferred)

• Experience in a large integrated delivery network, academic medical center, or multi-hospital health system (preferred)

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States
