Healthcare Regional Compliance Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee changes in regulations and contracts, providing updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Maintain processes for tracking compliance and notifying necessary parties.

• Review and revise essential forms to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

• Accurately prepare and submit contract reports in a timely manner.

• Develop, maintain, and assess policies and procedures aimed at compliance and ongoing improvement.

• Coordinate both internal and external audits, including follow-up on corrective actions.

• Manage and oversee Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).

• Investigate incidents related to compliance, including issues related to Fraud, Waste, Abuse, Privacy, HIPAA, and other significant matters.

• Supervise Criminal Background Check (CBC) assessments and compliance requirements.

• Keep compliance records organized to support audits and reporting obligations.

• Work collaboratively with leadership and compliance teams to address issues and enhance processes.

• Deliver compliance training and support as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in compliance within the healthcare, financial services, or regulated sectors.

• An Associate’s degree in business administration or a related area is preferred.

• Demonstrated success in managing audits, regulatory reporting, and policy execution.

• Strong knowledge of compliance principles, regulatory frameworks, and risk management practices.

• Proficient in using compliance management systems, databases, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
