
Healthcare Program Manager – Cohort-Based Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the creation and introduction of new cohort-based healthcare education initiatives from initial concept to full implementation.
• Analyze trends in the healthcare workforce, certification pathways, and competing programs to guide program strategy.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, faculty, and subject matter experts to develop and improve curriculum, assessments, and learner experiences.
• Assist in curriculum mapping, competency alignment, course sequencing, and assessment design.
• Ensure that instructional content meets academic quality standards, workforce requirements, and learner outcomes.
• Oversee Penn Foster's daily partnership with Springboard.
• Cultivate and enhance collaborative relationships with external partners.
• Represent Penn Foster in partner meetings, offering academic expertise and recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Academics, Product, Operations, Learner Experience, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Track learner performance, completion rates, certification outcomes, and program metrics.
• Suggest improvements to curriculum, learner engagement, and program effectiveness based on research and data.
• Support program launch readiness, ongoing operations, and continuous enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to accreditation standards, institutional policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Create presentations, reports, documentation, and communications for both internal and external audiences.
• Manage multiple priorities while adapting to changing business needs and partner requests.
• Convey recommendations, influence stakeholders, and drive decisions across diverse teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Education, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare education, academic program management, workforce development, or program development.
• Background in supporting curriculum development or creating educational content.
• Experience in managing cross-functional projects and external partnerships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research, analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Preferred experience with online, hybrid, or cohort-based learning programs.
• Knowledge of healthcare certification pathways and workforce education is preferred.
• Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory standards is preferred.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
• Experience utilizing learner and program data for continuous improvement is preferred.
• Successful completion of a role-specific assessment is required.
• Successful fulfillment of applicable pre-employment screening requirements, where necessary, is required.
• Completion of employment eligibility verification via Form I-9 is required.
• Ability to function in a remote, on-camera setting; employees are expected to be on camera during meetings unless special circumstances exist.
