Healthcare Intake Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for healthcare clients seeking Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services.

• Gather, assess, and validate client demographic, insurance, and medical details.

• Clarify intake processes, program specifics, and service eligibility to clients and their families.

• Coordinate the scheduling of clinical assessments and intake sessions.

• Ensure accurate and prompt record-keeping within electronic health records (EHR) and intake management systems.

• Work in collaboration with clinical, administrative, and insurance teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

• Follow up with clients to secure outstanding documentation and address intake-related concerns.

• Prior experience in healthcare intake, patient services, or a related customer service role is preferred.

• Strong communication abilities to convey complex information clearly and with empathy.

• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficient in digital tools such as Google Workspace, CRM, or EHR software.

• Capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work setting.

• Familiarity with ABA therapy services or the behavioral health sector is advantageous.

• Dependable internet connection and availability during U.S. business hours.
