Healthcare Finance Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the financial operations for healthcare services within the WTC Health Program, which includes budgeting, payment processing, reconciliation, and reporting in accordance with CDC/CMS standards.

• Anticipate and assess medical and pharmacy expenditures, pinpointing significant cost factors such as high-cost claims, provider billing trends, and utilization patterns.

• Supervise medical and pharmacy payments while scrutinizing associated claims, provider, and beneficiary information.

• Reconcile medical claims and payments across financial systems, including adjustments/reversals and runout; investigate discrepancies, resolve issues, and maintain audit trails.

• Generate regular and on-demand financial reports and dashboards for leadership, emphasizing healthcare expenses by fiscal appropriation, spending types, clinics, and other relevant metrics.

• Develop budget forecasts and spending plans to guide Program funding management through statistical modeling and forecasting techniques.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or program financial management within Healthcare Operations.

• Proven experience in supporting financial management for intricate programs, involving multiple stakeholders (program leadership, operations, contracts, and compliance).

• Strong understanding of cost management principles, forecasting techniques, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

• Capability to create and sustain detailed financial models and reporting tools in Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, scenario analysis, regression).

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders effectively.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights.

• Keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
