This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the creation and upkeep of predictive, statistical, and machine learning models tailored to meet business and client demands across various Artemetrx initiatives.
• Examine pharmacy and medical claims data along with other healthcare datasets to uncover trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities that guide client strategies and enhance health outcomes.
• Contribute to AI roadmap projects.
• Prepare, cleanse, transform, and authenticate data sets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and usability for advanced analytics, reporting, dashboards, and model development.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable analytical code adhering to established data team standards, libraries, and modules.
• Support Artemetrx by maintaining reference tables and other datasets utilized within the product.
• Utilize programming languages such as SQL or Python to extract, manipulate, and analyze large and intricate datasets.
• Collaborate with consultants, clinicians, analysts, product teams, data engineers, and other stakeholders to grasp business challenges, articulate requirements, and deliver actionable insights.
• Document analytical methods, assumptions, data definitions, model logic, and results to promote transparency, repeatability, and quality control.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations through written summaries, presentations, dashboards, and discussions with stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of advancements in healthcare analytics, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and the pharmacy benefits management sector.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in healthcare and/or pharmaceutical analytics.
• Strong proficiency in using SQL for query writing.
• Experience with Python or R, particularly in building data analysis, machine learning, or forecasting models.
• Positive and approachable attitude, enthusiastic about team collaboration while also capable of working independently.
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in data science, analytics, statistics, healthcare analytics, informatics, or a related analytical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field is required; a master’s degree or relevant coursework is preferred.
• Experience with healthcare data, pharmacy/PBM data, medical claims, financial data, or similarly complex datasets.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, query formulation, and data manipulation.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, or automation tasks.
• Fundamental understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience in preparing, cleansing, validating, and analyzing raw data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to convert business inquiries into analytical methodologies and present results in a clear, concise, and practical manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, and a quick learning ability for new tools, methods, and healthcare concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven capability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with advanced Excel skills being a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 10%.
