This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Manage over 60 inbound and outbound calls daily pertaining to billing, payments, medical claims, and coverage inquiries.
• Address telephone inquiries by adhering to established procedures and scripts.
• Collect necessary information, review account details, and resolve customer issues efficiently and accurately.
• Clearly articulate billing information, insurance benefits, and available services to patients.
• Evaluate patient needs and offer suitable solutions or escalate issues as required.
• Organize work to ensure optimal call coverage while maintaining daily productivity.
• Collaborate with management and colleagues through screen-sharing tools to facilitate real-time problem-solving and achieve performance objectives.
• Assist with departmental initiatives and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality policies.
• Support departmental objectives and suggest enhancements to boost efficiency.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to aid the team and contribute to organizational success.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not mandatory.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; further education is advantageous.
• A minimum of 1–2 years of customer service experience is necessary.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or medical collections is preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, Workers’ Compensation, and liability claims is a plus.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and the healthcare revenue cycle is required.
• Demonstrated experience working with various systems and databases in a fast-paced environment.
