Healthcare Consulting Associate – Mid Revenue Cycle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with project team members and client stakeholders to design and implement effective solutions using established methodologies and best practices.

• Utilize critical thinking for data collection and complex analysis, identify data gaps and risks, formulate sound conclusions, and develop actionable, sustainable recommendations for improvement.

• Summarize information and present findings and recommendations to various levels of Huron and client leadership.

• Provide direct supervision to junior project team members, including coaching, mentorship, team leadership, and performance feedback.

• Deliver solutions customized to each client’s specific needs, enhancing impact and accessibility within healthcare services.

• Lead one or more project workstreams employing Huron approaches and methodologies to assist clients in overcoming business challenges and improving clinical and financial outcomes.

• Engage in diverse projects and gain practical consulting and change management experience while making a difference in mission-driven healthcare organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant project implementation or process improvement experience in a team-based setting, preferably within healthcare or consulting.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to manipulate and interpret complex data sets, identify trends and discrepancies, and develop actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance.

• Knowledge of and exposure to healthcare revenue cycle operations, including charge capture within hospital systems, health systems, and/or physician enterprise environments.

• Basic understanding of clinical charging workflows, charge entry practices, and billing workflows.

• Proven experience managing complex projects in a client-focused environment.

• Effective communication and presentation skills—able to translate technical findings into insights for internal and operational stakeholders.

• Capability to manage multiple client engagements or workstreams simultaneously.

• Commitment to quality, integrity, and client satisfaction.

• Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

• Willingness to travel based on client, enterprise, or project demands; current average travel in the Healthcare practice is less than 50% annually.

• Exposure to SQL is preferred.

• US Work Authorization is required.
