This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main liaison for assigned clients, guaranteeing high-quality deliverables, adherence to timelines, appropriate staffing, quality standards, and reporting obligations.
• Assist in mission-driven programs for the Department of Veterans Affairs as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee comprehensive project management activities for programs focused on Veterans.
• Work collaboratively with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to design clinical interventions.
• Conduct current-state evaluations and create journey maps for proposed future states.
• Execute primary and secondary research into leading clinical practices within the industry.
• Evaluate existing practices and propose improvements.
• Direct the creation of business cases, change management and communication plans, operational manuals, and evaluation strategies.
• Develop and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control plans, and operational workflows.
• Establish measurement models and support data-driven decision-making processes.
• Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies.
• Monitor response rates, data integrity, and operational efficiency while implementing enhancements.
• Lead project teams, which include both staff and subcontractors.
• Facilitate the onboarding and integration of new team members.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource distribution.
• Ensure compliance with federal contract requirements, performance benchmarks, and reporting obligations.
• Foster client relationships to promote long-term growth and business development.
• Discover opportunities for follow-on work and task orders, collaborate on capture initiatives, and contribute to proposal efforts.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or a related discipline.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in complex team-based engagements within a consulting organization, health-oriented government entity, or large integrated health care delivery system.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with consulting practices such as change management, process enhancement, human-centered design, environmental/market analysis, and qualitative and quantitative research.
• Capability to independently facilitate work groups comprising diverse stakeholders.
• Skill in simplifying intricate ideas into clear, accessible information for varied audiences.
• Excellent writing abilities and capability to create business cases, operational manuals, presentation materials, and communications.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Capacity to obtain a public trust.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Public Health or a related area.
• Preferred: Certifications such as PMP, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, SAFe Agile, or others.
• Preferred: Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or large health systems.
• Preferred: Background in designing and developing healthcare improvement programs and interventions.
• Preferred: Knowledge and experience overseeing the lifecycle of a healthcare pilot program.
